Hello and thanks for checking out Support a WAHP. So, what is a WAHP? A Work At Home Parent or WAHP is a Mum or Dad who works from home and combines parenting with his or her business activities. They are also referred to as a Work At Home Mum (WAHM) or a Work At Home Dad (WAHD).
This blog and Facebook page were created to support fellow Work At Home Parents by offering a way of advertising their business and getting their name out there. By joining the Facebook page and suggesting it to your friends, (and in turn them suggesting it to their friends!) it opens your business up to a whole new advertising market and helps get the word out.
Eventually we'll be offering advertising spots on this blog for a small fee. This fee will also include a "Showcase Blog" where the business owner tells us all about who they are and what they do. This will also be broadcast on the Facebook page to hundreds of potential new customers!
